November Favourites Meets Blogmas | Blogmas 2
Hey guys and welcome to day 2 of Blogmas.
Today I wanted to share with you my favourites from November. Seems like just yesterday I was writing my Octobers favourites. Damn, time is going by fast!
Anyway, you guys know that I love inexpensive makeup so I think we should start by talking about it and just go from there?
Let’s do this then.
Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation
First, I want to talk about this foundation. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I’ve been trying this foundation for a few weeks now. I’m not going deeply into this one because I want to make a full review here on the blog or on Youtube. I think that there’s a lack of reviews of this in english (most are in german because Catrice it’s a german company) so I want to give you full details on how it works for me. For now all I can really say is that 1) Even though it was a present from Mike, my boyfriend, this is an inexpensive foundation (compared to other drugstore foundations), 2) I *really* wanted to try this one because it seemed the perfect color match for me (which it is. I’m 020 Rose Beige btw), 3) This does not cause break outs. I repeat: This does *not* cause break outs and 4) This is the foundation that always gets me some compliments on my skin. It’s also really suitable for oily/mist skin.
So yeah, I promise to do a full review on this one as soon as I can because I’m still deciding whether or not I’m doing this for my YouTube channel.
Essence Lash Princess (green one)
So, I’ve been an avid user of this mascara for a loong time. The thing is, I used to wear the orangy-pinkish one instead of this. I was buying some goodies and was only when I was on the checkout counter that I realized that I didn’t get my mascara. I tried to be as fast as Flash, but unfortunately, I don’t do sports, so I *knew* I needed to go as fast as I possible could and then I ended up grabbing this one instead of this orangy-pinkish one. Long story short, I’m loving! I’m so glad I made this little mistake because I’m genuinely loving this mascara. The wand is different from the other, so this one is a little bit more straight
so you won’t find this on a gay bar (I’m sorry, I’m terrible at making jokes, just ignore me. I love gay people. Okay let me stop now.)
This mascara gives a “false” lashes effect, it is super lightweight, so it turned out to be a great purchase. The price is about 4€ (a bargain!) and you can totally rock a natural look with this one.
You can see me wearing this in this picture (sorry, but the picture is in 1:1 so, that’s really all I got).
PS Matte Lipstick Crayon
OMG, I’m so fecking glad I picked this up when I went to Primark. First, it’s beautiful, second, I always get compliments on how sexy my lips look and third this doesn’t dry my lips! It’s a fecking miracle I’m telling ya!
I picked this one up in a deep red, because I’m really into dark red lipstick atm, and it’s bloody brilliant. It was 2,50€ I think and it’s just glorious!
*See pic above to see how I rock this lipstick*
Okay I think that’s all I got this month regarding makeup, so let’s move one. The next one is kinda of related as it can be categorized under beauty.
Tangle Teezer dupe
I’ve ruined my Tangle Teezer. Long story short I drop it and it broke into pieces so RIP my Tangle Teezer. Now, having long hair I just knew I couldn’t go back to normal brushes. I… I just couldn’t okay? There’s just too much pain… *Has flashbacks of having half of the hair ripped off the scalp* NO! I just couldn’t! So, I went to the store and found out this one instead. It costed me 3€ (I know that you must be thinking that I’m a greedy fecker by now) and what can I tell you? It’s the *exact* same as the Tangle Teezer only a whole lot less expensive. I’m pretty sure you can find something like this on ebay so I urge you to try one!
Wallet from Primark
There’s nothing much to say about this wallet other than I’m obsessed with it. It’s bloody gorgeous and it is just so me. I’ve been wanting a new wallet for a long time and I’ve finally found one that I truly adore.
Little Sheep Fluffy Slipers
I got these on Primark last year so I’m not sure if you’ll find them again, but I love them SO MUCH I just need to show them to you. They’re just so fluffy, so cute, and so…. argh! I can’t! Too much cuteness to handle!!
My Set of Chokers
By now, you already know I’m a huge fan of chockers. I think they’re a fashion statement and generally make me feel hot af. This ones are from Primark as well as Stradivarius and are the ones I find myself going for the most. I know that two of them made an appearance in my last favourites post, but oh well, you get to see them again. You’re welcome.
This little backpack
I’ve bought it from Primark and I’ve found myself using it sooo much! I was never the type of girl who wears backpacks as a purse but my god are they handy!
Okay, now moving to my favourite YouTube channel, and even though it was a close one I chose the Harry Potter Folklore which is a Irish channel that is all about Harry Potter! I think that most of you that follow me love HP so I’m pretty sure that you will like this channel. If you do, comment on their last video with #IcamefromEllaIvoire okay?
What about you? Tell me 3 of your favourite things in the comments!
See you guys tomorrow
**As always, this are my opinions and this is not a sponsored post. All pictures are my own unless stated otherwise which means you cannot use them without explicit consent. Yep, greedy af.
